Detroit fans certainly got their money's worth at Bennett Park. Ed
Reulbach(21-11) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Detroit Tigers toppled the
Brooklyn Superbas 1 to 0.

Reulbach was spectacular. He walked 3 Brooklyn batters. What a day for the
fans. They were on the edge of their seats from the 7th inning on. With
every out, the electricity in the air mounted. Detroit finished with just 3
hits in the victory.

Andy Coakley(14-15) was given the loss. He gave up just 1 run and 3 hits in 7
innings. 'Reulbach pitched one heck of a game!' Joe said. 'He didn't get
away with any bad pitches because he just didn't throw any bad pitches. What
a performance!'
