| League of Champions X: November 2003 New Entrants: 1956 New York Giants (100-62) and 1956 Cleveland Indians (96-66) The 1955 New York Yankees started out the tenth edition of the League Of Champions Tournament with a blistering 43-13 record through May 31 and were never seriously challenged the rest of the way. Second place went to the LOC IX and VIII winners, 1955 NY Giants. Eliminated, both 1956 entrants, the Giants and Indians. League of Champions X: Standings and Stats League Of Champions IX: September 2003 New Entrants 1906 Pittsburgh Pirates (98-64) and the 1906 Detroit Tigers (103-59). The 1955 New York Giants do it again but this time it's not by a lot. The new addition of the 1906 Pirates make it a lot closer. Click below to see the results. Eliminations are surprisingly the 1906 Detroit Tigers and the 1953 Baltimore Orioles. League of Champions IX: Standings and Stats League Of Champions VIII: August 2003 New Entrants: 1955 New York Giants (110-52) and the 1955 New York Yankees (101-61). The Powerful New York Giants featuring Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, Mickey Mantle and more wiped the competition out. Can they keep at the top and be called one of the best teams in WRL History? League of Champions VIII: Standings and Stats League of Champions VII: Jul 2003 New Entrants 1905 Pittsburgh Pirates and the 1905 Philadelphia Athletics. The Seventh Installment of the League of Champions has been completed. The 1954 Athletics win their second tournament in a row in just their second appearance. Eliminated: The 1905 Pirates and the 1954 Orioles who actually finished second in the LOC VI. Remaining teams are the 54 A's, 03 Pirates, 53 Orioles and the 05 A's. LOC VIII will feature the new 1955 teams. League of Champions VII: Standing and Stats League of Champions VI: Apr 2003 1954 Entries to this tournament were the 1954 Baltimore Orioles (90-72) and the 1954 Philadelphia A's 93-69. Although their records were among the worst in the tournament, they seemed to match up well with the other teams as they finsih 1-2 in the 6th installment of the League Of Champions. Philadelphia finished on top at 87-75 and Baltimore finished second at 85-77. Rounding out the top 4 were the 53 Orioles and 03 Pirates. The 02 Pirates were eliminated as well as the 52 Yankees.
