BRUNO SAGE

Height: 6 foot 1
Weight: 245 pounds
From: San Antonio, Texas
Finishing Move: Sage Handle Slam
Career Highlights: EWF Extreme Champion; NCW United States Champion; NCW Hardcore Champion; NCW Extreme Champion
A veteran of NCW. Bruno Sage made his way from the Extreme Wrestling Federation and upon arrival, Sage was immeditately recognized. Sage was never the arrogant, wise ass, ladies man he has become today. When he first came to NCW, Sage was a tough as nails, take no sh*t, son of a b*tch.

Sage made his mark in the company by attacking the United States Champion Santos Guerrero for giving him the wrong look backstage. This little attack would lead to one of the longest and classic feuds ever in NCW. Sage and Guerrero feuded for 4 months. Each got the better of each other at times, especially when Sage enlisted the help of Juvi, Guerrero's best friend to turn on him. It was a powerful move by Sage and in the end it won him the U.S title.

The feud finally ended at SuperNet in a Final Curtain match. Both men have never fought since that day. Sage moved on after losing the title to Guerrero. He targeted Zach Stiller when he first arrived and claimed he couldn't measure up to his dead brother's legacy (R.I.P Ray). Stiller proved him wrong at Adrenaline 2003.

People started to see a change in Sage arund June of 2003. Sage had begun to develop an arrogant attitude and charm that would become a trademark. He named himself the 'Rookie Killer'. This was due to the fact that Sage had little to no respect for rookies who though they could 'run the show' and excuse the veterans. Sage even brought in Jason Knoxville as an apprentice so that the legend of Bruno Sage would never die. Knoxville eventually turned on his mentor after months of disrespect towards him. This led to another long feiud that became a classic.

At Judgment Day 2003, Sage lost to Knoxville for a 3rd time and thus leaving NCW after a stipulation required him to. Sage wound up in All-Star Xtreme Wrestling along with girlfriend Yolanda. Sage formed the group known as the Untouchables with Chris Ajax and Kyle Le Senoir Ass. They were a feared group and soon enough Sage made a mark in the company as a big player, even battling Avenging Angelo in a Hardcore Steel Cage Match, and winning to brag about it.

Upon AXW's demise, Sage found himself in NCW again along with Untouchables. Currently, Sage is once again the holder of the NCW Extreme Champion and has broken away from the Untouchables. The self proclaimed greatest Extreme Champion ever has got a long career ahead of him, and the Rookie Killer doesn't look to stop.
