One of the most popular guys on the roster, in and out of the ring. Sean Cena is a competitor who really exemplifies spirit. Whenever a challenge comes his way, Cena is quick on his feet and ready to fend whatever threatens him.

Cena arrived in NCW from Extreme Wrestling Federation, where he quickly rose to the scene and to the main event level. He competed in the first ever Tag Team Elimination Chamber alongside Matt Xtreme and Jesse Russell against the New World Order. Cena and his team won the match and he was rewarded with the Hardcore Championship.

Cena has changed since his debut days. In August 2003, Cena finally completed a transformaton that would show the true him, what he likes to call - "Shinizzle". Cena became a bigger threat and that gave him the shot at the Heavyweight Championship against Razor at Vendetta. Cena lost the match but he was able to gain his rematch at Tear Away in a Hell in a Cell Iron Man match with Andrew Ferreria posing as the Guest Referee.

Cena won that night with the help of Ferreria and won his first Heavyweight Championship. An accomplishment that gave him a higher status among the company. Cena lost it 2 months later to a returning Poppa Crush, and he hasn't regained the title since.

Cena recently added another credential to his career with a Tag Team title win with Jesse Russell. The win was accidental but it still matters. With his partner and himself not being able to co-exist, its going to be a challenge for Cena. But all challenges make a man stronger, and Cena is willing to do just that,
