| A veteran of NCW but also a rookie in a way. Johnny Styles was partof the company during its creation in September and he became invovled with its rebirth in November. Styles left in January 2003 after chickening out at the SurvivorSlam. Styles was never seen again, until he made an impactful return at Starrcade 2003. Styles interfered during the main event between Poppa Crush and Bothelo for the NCW Heavyweight Championship. Styles attacked Crush and cost him the title. He joined the 4 Horsemen that day, and from that momet on people suddenly forgot about the scared little rookie from SurvivorSlam, and now they see a cocky son of a b*tch. Styles quickly got on many people's nerves. With his cocky attitude and care-free demeamor, it wasn't long before people would begin to despise him. And why wouldn't he have this attitude? Styles was running with the Horsemen, the most powerful group in NCW at the time. It had the power of Paiva and Ferreria, the ruthlessness of Sean Cena, the Champion in Bothelo, and the protection of John Ferreria. Styles was in good company. Styles soon began to break away form that however. At SurvivorSlam 2004, Styles entered the 'Slam at #30 and though he lost, he made a name for himself as a man who could very well become a future star without the aid of Horsemen. Soon enough, the Horsemen disassembled and Styles went on to become the NCW Hardcore Champion at No Rulz 2004 against Chris Ajax. If his career couldn't get any better, Styles became the first ever NCW Extreme Champion at SuperNet II defeating Crush. Johnny Styles proved that he is the real deal and definitely has the potential to succeed. Styles' success is not limited to the ring, he is also dating one of the most beautiful Diva's on the roster, Liquid. What started as a way to 'get some' turned into a relationship that has made Styles realized that he actually loves someone, and not just using them. |
