Things to check before sending us your clock.

Some times while on a house call we find that the pendulum assembly is not hanging right. See the graphic below. We find that the pendulum was bumbed or for some other reason the hanger has come unhooked from the suspension spring and is hanging from the stirrup. Check to make sure the pendulum or hanger is attatched to the suspension spring. Care must be taken in this area to avoid bending or breaking the suspension spring or that you don't knock the clock out of beat. If you feel unsure of fixing  this let us do it for you.   Email   wwindmills@comcast.net with your questions.
