| After exposing GloWings and GloRings to a bright light they will glow many times longer than traditional glow in the dark fishing lures. The glow in the dark lures do not have to depend on light coming all the way down from the surface to illuminate the lure. Weak ambient light does not penetrate very far into the depths. Glow in the dark lures are lighted from within so they are easily seen even at great depths and in silted turbid waters. Even on dark moonless nights these glowing lures can be easily seen since they don't depend on reflected light. |

A fish is more willing to go further for food in the dark than in the light. In daylight a fish is exposed if it leaves it's hiding place and so the strike zone is limited. The fishes forays are short and quick when the fish feels insecure. When fish see a glowing lure at night they are willing to go further to check out the possible food source. |
