You All Know The Tale Of Trent Reznor.. You Don't..? Then Gather Round...

On May seventeenth, 1965, 7.30 am (edst), in Mercer, Pennsylvania, named Michael Trent Reznor, Trent was born to Nancy Clark and Mike Reznor. (For the hundreds of people I asked, nobody knew whether Trent was American or not- he is.) Trent learned the piano and lived with his grandparents after his parents divorce. Trent also played the saxaphone and jazz before he left.

After Trent's moved to Cleveland, he signed onto the label TVT Records, where he produced "Pretty Hate Machine" ('89) with his band, Nine Inch Nails. (Costs $20-$30 to buy from HMV.) also played at the first Lollapalooza, and by 1992, Trent owned his own record company called Nothing.

Trent, for the most part writes the lyrics, composes the music, and arranges it all into spectacular songs and albums he then releases or performs. His music is best described as industrial metal. I greatly enjoy everything he has created so far.

Some of my favourite songs are "I'm Afraid of Americans"- with David Bowie, "Closer To God", "Get Down, Make Love", "Head Like A Hole", all of "the fragile"'s Right Disk (when happy), some of "the fragile"'s Left Disk (when sad), and some of the songs on "the downward spiral". "Into The Void" rocks!!
