Chapter 2: The brain

In some cases, like reflexes, the brain is not involved in making decisions. The spinal cord is responsible for reflexes.

The brain is mainly divided into lobes with different functions, but smaller areas serve even more specific functions.
Occipital lobe deals with vision information
Parietal lobe deals with somatosensory information
Temporal lobe deals with audition and memory
Frontal lobe deals with planning, thinking, and use of strategies.
