SWITCHING Switching can be achieved using front mounted push switches, or the supplied three way remote footswitch. If you use a MIDI device, it is possible to transmit channel change information to the Anniversary amplifier as part of a patch change message, a level of control previously unheard of on a valve guitar amp. REAR PANEL Anniversary models have more useful features than any previous Marshall valve amp. In addition to the standard features, we have added output power switching (from 100 down to 50 Watts); selection for parallel or series effects plus send level trim for channels I & 2; a compensated balanced line out for superb direct recording and a MIDI IN socket. A further unique feature lifts this mega amp into a different class. Automatic power amp dumping provides the ideal power amp configuration for brilliant clean tones (requiring high damping) and crushing overdrive (which needs low damping). to give you the widest dramatic range of sound possibilities. Channel
1 has both mid shift and bright. Channel 2 gives 3 contrasting sound modes,
from vintage to contemporary Hi-Gain. Channel 3 includes a giant gain
boost and contour selection switch to turn the middle control into a wide-sweeping
contour control. The contrast is incredible. |
