Shashamane Vision: An Agrarian Society and Community planned

BROOKLYN, United States (June 13) - Once again the true vision of Shashamane has been addressed as being an "Agricultural Community" as the early Pioneer Settlers Corp and the Shashamane Land Grant 1967 Administrator had been inspired to reveal based upon the prophecy of Holy Scriptures of the "remnant (that) shall return".   

"The historical and revelant proposal always has been that Shashamane shall be an Agricultural Community and not a commercialized city," said the Federation POA spokesperson today, "We have been discussing the opening up of more land in Ethiopia with Ethiopian and Local government representatives to finally creating viable and sustainable settlements... yet the major need is in water, irrigation and regulation.  So far there are a handful of new SLG members and many EWF Loyalist that are looking forward and actively planning to carry out several important assignments when they reach Africa early next year.  However, that date of "next year" may be expedited to be mid to late 2003 based upon various conditions that were not disclosed. Expeditionary Teams are being prepared along with S.I.T.E. (http://saviourculture.com) through Sister Fanaye and the staff in Florida whom are also named "sustaining members" and co-labourers in LOJ afforded full LOJ Diplomatic rights and responsibilites. It was hinted that additional and district "acting attornies" may be commissioned as needed in accords with the "Extraordinary Circumstances" provision of "Judges" so that elected representatives of the EWF will do their jobs accordingly with full transparency and accountability to "We, the Black Peoples of the world."   

An upcoming visit and tour of "Yihuda's Land" - Ethiopia this coming September as announced over the last few months, planned and co-ordinated is nearly complete with Ethiopian authorities in both Washington, DC and in Addis Abeba on stand-by. The major preparations and preliminaries are being fulfilled by the S.I.T.E. teams in Florida.  Those involved have not been disclosed to the public due to various "terror threats" and security issues.   

To address the public need for clarity and further information, it was announced last week that a NY visit of the S.I.T.E. representative and speaking tours featuring various "supporting groups" is scheduled for July 2003. It was reported that this is tentative yet will be discussed with the "active" members and groups. The EWF-LOJ medical response units need more staffing personnal to help, coordinate and co-train with the SHARP program in Ethiopia as well as in the USA raising funds, doing outreach and awareness campaigns on "all media."  "We must network our resources and not allow those negative persons to influence the positive works being done today.... these are all the 'fruits' of the word not idle talk of chatterers. We pray and give praise for more bounty and blessing as we MOVE FORWARD!"

The Federation POA also noted with "true joy and gladness of heart" that the S.I.T.E. is doing an excellent job in making and in keeping the arrangements with Ethiopian Service Agencies as well as Non-Profit orgs like Glimmer of Hope conducts noteworthy activites aimed at humanitarian needs in Ethiopia. Interested persons are asked to contact http://saveourculture.com if they are willing to become allies and "sustaining" and "supporting" individuals or groups.  The response from the Ethiopian and Rastafari community has shown positive and hopeful signs and more "outreach" in the various communities is needed, especially with "positive and praiseworthy word-of-mouth."

One team member said that, "The work remains on a few because the most urgent need is education and training.  Some brothers and sisters rebel against this.... to any all new members, partner orgs and supporting groups.... I would say.... be patient and productive as the harvest is great and the labourers a few."
