Eric, “Last week was great. Yeah, I admit it. And you can bet all you want Shaney, but you’re going to end up in debt. XWE Destruction is going to be a great night.”
Shane, “And so will tonight. As long as you keep out of my half of the show, I will keep out of your half.”
Eric, “Fine… I never thought I’d say this but I think we will work well together for this one week, because it is the last week before the pay per view. And as you know the sole GM position will be decided at Destruction and I have a special stipulation that I added to that match.”
Shane, “How could I forget…? It is the night that I will finally get rid of you!!”
Shane walks out of the office.
Unleashed’s theme music hits and the pyro’s go off as the camera shows us the thousands of people who are getting ready for the show.
JR, “Good Evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Unleashed. We are live in Greenwich, Connecticut and we are just one week from Destruction and boy are we excited.”
King, “There will be three matches made tonight for the PPV by the co-general manager Eric Bischoff. We already know of The Radicalz versus Shelton Benjamin and Maven for the tag titles and Eric Bischoff versus Shane McMahon for the sole general manager position of Unleashed. We have heard from Eric before the show that he has made a special stipulation for the match between the two GM’s but he said that he will not reveal it until the end of the night.”
JR, “That’s right King. Last week Chun Li proved she was for real after taking the Women’s Championship away from Lita. Bischoff also introduced two new divas to Unleashed and the first match tonight will feature both of them.”
Chun Li & Dawn Marie VS Lita & Amy Webber
Chun waits on the stage until her partner comes out and then they walk down to the ring together. Chun takes off her title belt and she starts talking to Dawn as Amy’s music hits.
Amy walks down to the ring but doesn’t get in yet. Lita’s music hits and the crowd get to their feet.
Lita runs all the way down the ramp and into the ring. She doesn’t take notice of Amy, who is standing there waiting for her. Lita just gets in the ring and starts slapping, punching and pulling hair.
King, “I think she’s taking a lesson out of Miss Jackie’s book JR.”
JR, “That’s not funny King. Jackie seriously injured Victoria last week and it’s nothing to joke about!”
Amy gets on the apron as the referee separates Lita, Chun and Dawn.
Chun gets out of the ring to stand on the apron as the bell rings. Lita looks Dawn up and down and then laughs to herself. She turns around to Amy and laughs.
King, “I think she just noticed Amy JR!”
Lita walks over to Amy and tags her in. Amy gets in and pushes Dawn. Dawn straightens up and then the action begins. Dawn jumps on Amy and starts pulling her hair. They roll over a couple of times and Amy starts punching and scratching Dawn’s face. The referee tries to separate them but they roll over the top of him. They get up after this and they start yelling at the referee. Lita gets in the ring from behind Dawn and German Suplex’s her.
JR, “That’s how you do it on Unleashed ladies!!!”
The ref tells Lita to get out of the ring. While Dawn is down, Amy kicks her and then grabs her foot and holds an ankle lock on. Dawn screams in pain but she eventually reaches the ropes and the lock has to be broken. Dawn goes over and tags in Chun. Chun comes in and Amy runs at her. Lita is standing on the apron shaking her head as Amy gets clotheslined by Chun. Chun gets her back up and whips her into the ropes. Amy comes back and sees that Chun is bending over ready to back body drop her so she slows down and kicks her in the face Chun holds her jaw as Amy goes over to Lita and tags her in. The crowd screams as Lita and Chun stare eye to eye. They lock shoulders, with Chun getting the upper hand; she pushes Lita back across the ring. Lita gets up looking shocked. They lock up again and this time Lita throws Chun across the other side of the ring. Chun gets up and runs at Lita, but Lita evades and drop toe holds her. Lita gets up and when she sees Chun getting up, she grabs her hair and slams her face down on the canvas. Dawn runs into the ring and tries to grab Lita from behind but Amy runs in and takes over. Dawn and Amy start pulling each others hair and scratching each other. They start screaming and tearing each others clothes to shreds. Chun gets up and looks at Lita. They nod to each other as they separate Amy and Dawn. Chun slaps Amy in the face pretty hard and then hits the Kawaii Pain and Lita knees Dawn in the stomach and hits a Twist of Fate. Lita looks down at them both and starts smiling. She turns around to see where Chun is… But too late! Chun hits another Kawaii Pain, this time on Lita and she goes for the pin, 1…2…3!
“Here are your winners, Chun Li and Dawn Marie!”
King, “Chun deceived Lita JR!”
JR, “Well she played the game and ended up wining along with her partner.”
King, “What are you talking about JR? Chun tricked Lita into hurting their partners just so she could capitalize on it!”
JR, “AND THAT IS USING HER BRAIN!!!”
King, “But poor Amy and Dawn… It was their debut match. Wouldn’t you think they’d have a bit more respect for them?”
JR, “That’s you view King! Anyway, last week we witnessed two shocking tempers get out of control. One of course was Miss Jackie, who violently injured Victoria just before Victoria was about to have a Women’s title match. The other was Eugene. Now we have heard that Lillian Garcia is here tonight and she wants to come to the ring and tell everybody how she feels about what happened.”
Lillian Garcia comes out on stage looking a bit scared. She cautiously walks to the ring and when she gets in the crowd erupt with applause.
King, “They are showing their respect for this kind, gentle, loving, sexy woman!!!”
Lillian says, “Last week on this very mat I was assaulted by a mad man that I never want to be associated with in my whole life. After the incident, I went to hospital just to get checked out and there was one man who came to my aid. He sat with me the whole night and I think he is the most adorable, gentleman that I have ever known. Come on out… Matt!!!”
“OH YEAAAAH!!!” Matt Hardy walks down to the ring and when he gets in he kisses Lillian on the cheek. He grabs the mic and says, “I can’t even believe how that guy could hurt such a beautiful person. And that is why I am out here. I have spoken to Shane and he has signed a match between myself and Eugene. The terms of the match are if I win, I get a shot at the Cruiserweight title. If he wins, I get to choose another person to challenge him for the title. It may seem unfair, but it all counts towards the pain that he inflicted on Lillian. So if you’re ready now, then come on out!”
Matt Hardy VS Eugene
Lillian exits the ring as Matt takes off his shirt. Eugene’s music starts playing around the arena and he comes out with his belt over his shoulder. He gets to the ring and crawls in as usual. Matt doesn’t waste any time as he runs over to Eugene and starts kicking him. The bell rings as Matt gets him up and rips his jacket off. Matt whips him, but Eugene holds on and whips Matt in to turnbuckle. Eugene runs at him hoping to body slam him into the buckle, but Matt moves and Eugene slams into it. Matt grabs Eugene as he is stumbling backwards and then slams his shoulder into the turnbuckle pole. Matt throws the V1 hand signal with the usual, ‘V1NAAAA’. He winks to Lillian and then grabs Eugene by the hair and gets him up. Eugene gets up and punches Matt and then as Matt is trying to get over the pain of the sudden punch, Eugene gets up to the top rope. He jumps off as Matt turns around and he fly kicks him in the chest. Eugene gets excited about this and he runs back to the top rope. As he is securing himself up there, Matt gets up there with him. A few punches are exchanged and then Matt hits a side effect from the top slamming onto the canvas. The crowd erupts at this move as Matt goes for the cover, 1…2…3. The crowd is silent.
King, “I’m in shock JR!”
JR, “What just happened…? It ended so quickly!”
Matt gets up as Lillian gets in the ring and joins him. They celebrate Matt’s ‘easy’ victory not knowing that Eugene is standing behind them.
King, “Eugene just got up!!!”
Eugene grabs Matt from behind. He wraps his hands around Matt’s throat and chokes him. Matt tries to get air into his body but Eugene’s hold increases with force. Security guards, Medical technicians and referees run down to the ring as Matt starts to turn purple. Lillian is sitting in the corner of the ring hoping the Eugene doesn’t see her. She gets up suddenly and walks over to Eugene. She runs her finger up his arm and across his chest. He lets go of Matt and looks straight at Lillian. Eugene says, “I… I’m sorry bout last week Lillian… I just wanted a match!” Eugene looks really innocent now. He looks down at Lillian’s breasts and his smile widens. She says to him, “You like them hah… well tell me what you think of this!!!”
She knees him in the balls and grabs his head. She sticks it under her arm, she holds out her arm, she yells: AHHHHH!!! And then she twist of fate’s him!!!
Matt gets up and makes sure that Lillian is alright and then they get out of the ring and go backstage.
*Commercial Break*
JR, “Well, what an interesting start to Lillian’s wrestling career!”
King, “It was magnificent JR. I want to see it again!”
JR, “Well you will be seeing something now but it won’t be Lillian. Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin are going head to head tonight. Eric Bischoff has just told us that he has talked to Shane and made an agreement with him to put a special stipulation to the match. Shane has said that if Shelton Benjamin wins then he will get to decide the type of match that the tag titles will get defended in at Destruction. If Randy wins he will choose the match type. Simple… Let’s go!!!”
Randy Orton VS Shelton Benjamin
“AINT NO STOPPIN ME!!!”
“Introducing to the ring, from Orangeburg, South Carolina, weighing in at 245 pounds, being accompanied to the ring by Maven, Shelton Benjamin…”
Shelton comes out alongside Maven and they walk to the ring.
King, “Shelton and Maven are coming off a huge win last week beating the tag champs in a non-title match that earned them a shot at the title at Destruction.”
“… and his opponent, from St Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, being accompanied to the ring by Charlie Haas, Randy Orton!”
Randy comes out with Charlie following. Randy starts to run to the ring. Randy runs straight at Shelton, but he runs straight into a T-Bone suplex. Shelton holds for the pin, 1…2… Randy kicks out just before the count gets to 3.
King, “Wow that could have been a short decision made tonight.”
JR, “Well, I think there’ll be plenty more where that came from.”
Randy gets up looking shocked. Shelton just concentrates. Charlie goes and sits down at the official’s desk but Maven stays on the outside of the ring cheering Shelton on. Randy and Shelton exchange punches a few times then Shelton irish whips Randy into the ropes. He comes back and Shelton back body drops him. He gets really pumped up now and he stands just near Randy waiting for him to get up. Randy gets up counters Shelton’s oncoming T-Bone and he hits an RKO. Randy goes for the pin and Shelton kicks out at 2.
JR, “I guess these guys want to get this match over and done with. They want to know what type of match they will be wrestling in at Destruction and they want to know now!”
Randy gets up and starts kicking Shelton. Shelton rolls over a couple of times to get away from Randy and then he gets up. The meet in the middle of the ring and they lock up. Randy gets the better of it, and he somehow maneuvers himself around Shelton and does a backbreaker.
Randy yells to the crowd and he squats in the corner waiting for Shelton to get up. After a while, he gets up, Randy plants another RKO on him and he goes for the pin, 1…2…3.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner, Randy Orton!”
The officials and Charlie get into the ring with Randy and one official asks, “So Randy, you have won the match, what match type are you choosing to defend your Tag Team Championship at Destruction?”
Randy, “I have chosen a TLC match!!!”
The crowd screams and chants at Randy’s decision.
Jeff Hardy is in his locker room talking to Lita about her loss when there is a knock on the door. Lita gets up and opens it. We hear a person say, “Is Jeff Hardy there?” Lita opens the door wider and shows the guy that Jeff is in the room. Jeff gets up straight away and says, “Jayson, what are you doing here?”
The man obviously named Jayson says, “Hey Jeff… I just signed a contract with Unleashed…”
Jeff, “You mean you’re on the show… this is awesome… Lita can you get the champagne please.”
Jayson, “Yeah, and I just came to you because you are the only one here I really know.”
Jeff, “That’s fine. I’m sure you’ll get to know everyone and get a match here!”
Jayson, “Well, Bischoff said that the cards are pretty full for the next few weeks and I won’t be able…”
Lita, “How can the cards be full? We don’t even know who the GM will be after Destruction so I don’t know what he’s talking about. I best go see him.”
Lita walks out of the room as Jeff pours the champagne.
Jeff, “Well if that is really the case, I’m sure that I’ll be able to work something out with Eric or Shane to get you a debut match after the ppv.”
Jayson, “Thanks mate!!!”
King, “I know who that was JR!!!”
JR, “Obviously it’s Jayson.”
King, “You don’t know who Jayson is. That’s Jayson Anderson!”
JR, “And?”
King, “Jayson Anderson is Jessica Hardy’s brother, Jeff’s brother in law!”
JR, “Well, now I know who he is! And I’m sure if he is as good as Jeff and Jessica then we’ll see great stuff from him.”
Eric Bischoff walks out and he says, “Well people, this is my part of the show and boy am I glad. Shane should also be very disappointed because his part of tonight’s show was the last time he will be the co-GM of Unleashed.”
The crowd has mixed reactions to this as Bischoff continues.
“I have come out here for two main purposes. One is to let everyone know about the 3 other matches that I have planned for Destruction coming up this Sunday on pay per view. I am also out here to tell you that the stipulation that I have chosen for the ppv match between myself and Shane McMahon is a ‘One hand tied behind your back match’.”
The crowd boos.
JR, “Is he serious King? No-one will want to see them going at it with one arm tied behind their back.”
King, “I think he is serious JR. And he is the manager of this PPV so I guess he can do what he wants.”
‘NO CHANCE… THAT’S WHAT U GOT!!!”
King, “OMG King. It’s Vince McMahon followed by Shane.”
Vince comes down to the ring followed by Shane and he says, “Eric. I appointed you as co-general manager so that you could get a feel of what it was like to have power again. At the start of your career with XWE when you were the sole GM, you abused your powers and that is why you got fired and if you ask me, you’re heading down that same path now.”
Eric looks stunned and he goes to reply to Vince but Vince continues with what he is saying.
Vince, “I made the contract for you to make 2 of the 5 matches on a show and you have done that. I applaud you for doing that. BUT, you have also: introduced a new championship title to Unleashed that we didn’t really need. You have taken it under you own wing to host the Unleashed side of Destruction. You brought back Goldberg when he was clearly on suspension because of his temper. What else have you done, or what else have you got planned in that sick mind of yours?”
The crowd goes nuts when Vince says this.
Eric, “I want you to stop right there Vince. I have only done all of those things because that is what people at home and here want to see. Unleashed’s rating were going down when there was just one GM and now that I am here, they have skyrocketed.”
Shane, “You have only been the co-Gm for two or so weeks now. And this is the first show that you have co-hosted so how can it be you?”
Eric, “Shut up Shane!!! Now Vince, I would like you to approve the stipulation for me please.”
Vince, “NO!!! I am not having you two boneheads wrestling with one arm in my ring. The match at Destruction between Eric Bischoff and Shane McMahon will be a…”
He thinks for a second or two and then says, “… It will be a CAGE MATCH for the sole GM position of Unleashed!!!”
He throws the mic at Eric and walks out of the ring.
JR, “Shane looks just as stunned as Bischoff so I don’t think he has anything to do with it.”
King, “It could be an act JR. Shane probably went to cry to his daddy.”
JR, “There are two things that would be bothering Eric right now. One is that Shane is a wrestler and Eric isn’t and the other is that he knows he can do nothing to change it now because the BOSS has spoken!!!”
*Commercial Break*
Booker T walks down to the ring and he say, “Undertaker, last week’s win was purely a fluke. You couldn’t beat me again if you tried!”
‘GONG!’ The Undertaker appears on the big screen and he says, “Booker T, I won the Inferno match last week fair and square. I am the Hardcore Champion and nobody will be able to take it from me… ESPECIALLY YOU!!!”
Booker T says, “Well dog, let’s see if that statement of yours is true. At Destruction… you, me, Hell in a Cell!!!”
Taker, “YOU’RE ON!!!”
Vince comes on the big screen and he says, “Eric didn’t quite name the last 3 matches for the PPV, so I will read them just to make sure everyone is clear. There will be an all Unleashed Divas over the top rope challenge for the XWE Women’s Championship. I have changed on of his matches to one that was just made which is The Undertaker versus Booker T in a Hell in a Cell match for the Hardcore title and Chris Jericho will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the match later tonight.”
Chris Jericho comes out on stage and says, “I thought I would come out here because we have a few spare minutes and THE HIGHLIGHT REEL has come to Connecticut!!!”
The Greenwich crowd gets to their feet in applause. Jericho makes his way down to the Highlight Reel decorated ring and he says, “There is one superstar on Unleashed that doesn’t get enough publicity as he should and he is a champion. All champions on Unleashed should be recognized as gods in my opinion and one of them isn’t. He is the United States Champion and he has been having a few problems with Batista for ages now so I thought I’d bring him down and have a chat with him.”
Bret’s music hits and he comes out on stage with his title around his waist. He gets half way down the ramp when someone in a hood comes running from behind him. This hooded person knocks Bret in the back and knocks him down. The guy gets a sledgehammer and bashes it into Bret’s right knee. Jericho gets out of the ring and ties to help Bret but the guy in the hood pushes Chris back. Jericho takes the sledgehammer from him and goes to hit him, but he just dodges it and spinebuster’s Jericho. The guy in the hood walks backstage as the EMT’s come out and put Bret on the stretcher and takes him backstage. Chris gets up and walks backstage as well.
JR, “Something must be in the XWE air lately King. There are so many people getting injured for no reason. It started with Miss Jackie assaulting Victoria and then Eugene planted a stunner on Lillian.”
King, “And now someone has gone and injured the United States Champion!”
JR, “It has to be stopped!!!”
Destroyer VS Goldberg (World Heavyweight Title Number 1 Contendership)
‘Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is the World Heavyweight Championship number one contender match… Introducing first, Destroyer!”
Destroyer’s music hits and he comes out and down to the ring looking very pumped up.
“… And his opponent, Goldberg!”
The lights go out. They come back on after about thirty seconds and the crowd goes mad. Goldberg is behind Destroyer holding a steel bar. He swings it high and straight down into Destroyer’s back. Destroyer falls flat on his face as Goldberg drives the pole in his back again. Destroyer rolls onto his back and Goldberg slams the pole into his stomach. Destroyer starts coughing up blood as the medical technicians make their way to the ring. Goldberg exits the ring and makes his way through the crowd as Unleashed goes off air.
