I started this site on October 17, 1999, and haven't figured out the html yet, but at least I'm working on it! Check back later, and see if anything interesting happens. |
What you can expect to find here: |
Art that captivates the imagination, or at least isn't copyrighted. And SPAM®, but not the really good stuff out of the can. Anything else that shows up is pure gravy. |
Mothers Everywhere On the left, two of the most important women on this page: my Mom, aka Aunt Joyce or AJ (to her friends on the Mowire), and her niece Glenda, who loves hugs, fishing and her own culinary creations. The image was part of a Mother's Day 1999 email to them both. They're still mothers in 2000 and beyond! |
This is how Aunt Joyce (or "Mom" as I like to call her), world-renowned potter and international traveler, looks when visiting an Israeli soldier friend, over there in Israel, showing off her New York Yankees bias, and passing the collection hat to raise money for baseball equipment and uniforms for the poor kids in the kibbutz. She obviously didn't know this photo was being taken by a Jordanian spy camera, or she wouldn't have removed government protected rocks and dirt from Israeli soil. |

The only reason for living in North Carolina (aside from dodging hurricanes) is to fish the Outer Banks. If you missed OBX II, Outer Banks Gathering 1999 or "The Great Muck", you can relive it vicariously by visiting the MoWire message board, where OBX denizens hang out and discuss fishing. Hosted by Mo, fishing entrepreneur and icon of OBX fishing, it's THE place to be! CLICK HERE |
