The  Mystery of How the Post-it Note was Invented!
The Setting: 3M company in 1968
The Characters:
Co-workers Dr Spencer Silver and Chemical Engineer, Art Fry
The Plot:
ACT 1 Scene 1:
Dr. Spencer Silver was working to create a better adhesive for tape. Instead of making an adhesive that sticks better, he ends up making one that is easily removed and leaves no residue.
ACT 1 Scene 2:
Silver tries to figure out what products could be made with his new adhesive. Some of his ideas include bulletin boards.
ACT 2 :
Art Fry trys to solve the problem of his bookmarks falling out of his church choir hymnal. He realises that his friend Silver's new adhesive is just the thing and tries it out. It works.
ACT 3
Fry brings some of his book marks into work and they're a hit. The Post-It Note becomes a product of the 3M company.

Science behind the Post-It Note
Silver's adhesive is made up of tiny, indestructable spheres. These spheres are very sticky, but because of their shape, surfaces only touch part of them  This is what makes the Post-it Note so easy to remove.
