Combos |

The Combos section is dedicated to giving duelists examples of combos that range from simple and commonplace, to well-thought-out and difficult. Our hope is to provide up-to-date combos that will actually make a difference, and hopefully inspire duelists to "think outside the box", in order to create their own combos that suit their deck and dueling style.
Magical Scientist + Catapult Turtle: This combo is rather simple. Simply use Magical Scientist's effect to special summon a fusion monster with at least 2100+ attack power. You can also combine this combo with Cost Down to enable you to use monsters with stronger attack power that are normally level 7 or higher.
Magical Marionette is a monster with 2000 attack and 1000 defense. He is 1 triubte, so he's rather easy to get out. He gains 1 spell counter every time you or the opponent activates a spell card. For every spell counter on him, you can increase his attack by 200 points. In addition, you can remove 2 spell counters from him to destroy ` monster on the field. Since Gearfried The Iron Knight destroys any equip cards equipped to him, you can equip him with Butterfly Dagger - Elma, which returns to your hand when it is sent to the Graveyard while equipped to a monster. This allows you to put an unlimited amount of spell counters on him, allowing him an unlimited amount of attack power until one of the cards required in this combo are destroyed or removed from play.
This combo simply lets you gain a substantial amount of life points. If you have a tribute monster in your hand, simply activate Ultimate Offering by countering one of you or your opponent's moves, and summon a tribute monster with strong ATK power. Then counter the tribute summon with Altar for Tribute, and gain a nice chunk of life points. |
