ABSENCE/MAKE-UP POLICY
P.E. is a class that is participation oriented therefore consistent attendance is important and does affect a student's grade.  Absences due to "pre-arranged" school activities and athletic events do not count against a student's attendance. Athletes, during their season of sport, will not have to make-up 7th period absences unless the absence  is a truant.  Athletes in 7th period PE who are not in their season of sport will have to make up all absences.
Make-up days will be provided during lunch for those wishing to make up absences.  Excused absences can be made up throughout the semester but no more than 2 per week.  Those wishing to make-up an absence must schedule the make-up time with the instructor.  It is the student's responsibility to contact the instructor.

ATHLETES - GAME DAY
Other than for special circumstances and previous arrangements, athletes are still required to participate on game day.

TARDIES
Athletes must check in with the instructor within 5 minutes of the late bell.  Tardies can adversely affect grade.  The locker room will be locked 8 min       utes after the late bell and not opened again until the end of the period.
