ABOUT ME!
I was born in South Vietnam in the year of 1967. I was the first son of four. My father was an officer with the ARVN. In 1978, While my father was in the "reeducation camp" courtesy of the Communists, my mother took her four sons and made the escape as "Boat People." We spent almost a year in a Malaysian refugee camp before coming over to America. We lived in Los Angeles--a cesspool of civilization.

I joined the Army in 1984 and spent the next eight years as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne (All American) Division, and an Air Assault Soldier the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles) Division. Most of my times were with the 101st Airborne. I served as a chemical warfare specialist and as an infantryman. It was the best of time. It was also the worst of time. All in all, an experience that I will forever cherish.

I attended the School of Engineering at the University of New Mexico. After the first year, I decided to pursue the curriculum of Chemical Engineering. It was a long road travelled but I finally got done. I haven't quite decided on Engineering graduate school or go the MBA route, but I still have a few more years to decide.

I have but a few people that I can actually call "friends": Lieutenant Christopher Gaudet, ex-Sergeant Alex Vollmer, ex-Sergeant David Montez, ex-Sergeant Scott Millard, NYPD Blue Andrew Mattson, ex-Staff Sergeant Tony Hall; and last but not least--the only civilian in the bunch, Civil Engineer Judah Hiat. There's one friend that truly stands out and HER name is Rachelle Allard. She is my confidante in affaire du coeur. Honorable Mention is my favorite First Cousin Bernadette West: Organic Chemist Extraordinaire and UTSA Med School bound. She is of my blood, and the keeper of my mores.

I am a proud member of the following organizations: AIChE, 101st ABN DIV Association, and the ultimate gun club--The FAL Association.
