Add a few whales, dolphins and turtles and you have the perfect spot to relax for a few days. Situated right on the Pilbara coast, just off Dampier, the Archipelago boasts some of the best fishing in Western Australia. Marlin, sailfish, coral trout, mahi mahi, cobia, various types of tuna, cod, mackeral, shark....the list is almost endless. Barramundi, more commonly found in waters further north, have also been caught by some lucky anglers around the Nickol River.
