The Mr. Beaver award went to Brett Cruse, and Mrs. Beaver was Jennifer Gardner.

All-Conference performers this season were Jake Doddridge in baseball, basketball, and track; Neil Smart in track; Drew Furr in basketball; Brett Cruse in basketball and football; and Charlie Brown in football.

Jake Doddridge won All-State in baseball, and Brett Cruse was All-State honorable mention in football.

CW Polston won the Tom Corley Award. The Tom Corley Award is given to the Glen Rose football player who exemplifies what it means to be a Glen Rose Beaver. More

Sports Banquet set for May 11
The 2001 Senior High Athletic Sports Banquet will be Friday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. The Banquet will include a fish and chicken dinner, speaker, and awards. The sports banquet is set up by the Glen Rose Athletic Booster Club.

Basketball Homecoming 2001
It's homecoming week at Glen Rose. There will be all kinds of events all week, and it all ends with the homecoming ceremonies which take place on Thursday the 25th. The Sr. Boys will play first on that night. More

This section of the Beaver Dam is dedicated to the fans of Glen Rose High School Athletics. It features information on all of the spirit groups, homecoming past and present, it features the alma-mater, and school colors. All kinds of stuff, and there's more to come.
