Fiction and biographies have long played an important role in the socialist and workers' movements. The human angle they can illuminate sometimes drives home the weight and drama of the past in ways no other can. Below is a modest list of political novels, biographies and eyewitness accounts that we've put together. This is by no means a comprehensive list, but we hope to make it more so as time goes on. These are books that you can hopefully find at your public or school library.
