Another contest and yet more controversy.
The results were announced in the hall. "In first place, the band that played number 1, Ystradgynlais". Phill was delighted to collect the trophy and first prize award notification. Ten minutes later, Catryn went to collect the adjudicator's copy of the music. Twenty minutes after that, there was still no sign of her. She eventually emerged to announce that the contest controllers had declared that there had been a mistake and that we had finished second. There was no explanation as to why the adjudicator said nothing when it was announced that the band that played first had won...
