Band Trivia!
We are the undisputed champions of the Miners Eisteddfod.  We won the inaugural competition in 1998 and the organisers decided not to hold it again!
The members of the Spiritualist church once addressed a letter to our then secretary Louise to "Mrs Louse"!
In 1995, the band took part in the S4C programme "Licyris Olsorts" which is filmed in and around the Ystradgynlais area.  As the series was set in the 1960s, the girls were not allowed to take part!  They didn't miss much, though...  Filming took eleven and a half hours and the band was on screen for all of twenty four seconds.
