| I was born in Beijing, China on January 21, 1981. I am an only child. My parents and I begin a new home in East Lansing, Michigan in 1989. After my dad received his Ph.D from Michigan State University, he found a job in Fort Collins, CO. So, in 1994 we moved again. After I graduated from IB program at Poudre High School in 1999, I made my move to Berkeley, California. I graduated from University of California, Berkeley in May of 2003 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Sociology. After graduation, I decided to move to LA to experience the dance scene in 7/03. I ended up signing with DDO (ddoagency.com) and was very happy with them. I also got a full time job in market research but decided it was not my cup of tea. So...I took another job offer from a strategic marketing consulting firm, Peppers and Rogers Group, based in Connecticut. After a little bit over a year at Peppers and Rogers Group and a not-so-lovely time in Connecticut, I knew it was the right time for me to make the big move into NYC. In 2/05, I got a great job doing brand planning/strategy at a direct marketing advertising agency, Rapp Collins. I also moved to NYC's Murray Hill neighborhood, and recently moved in with my boyfriend in Midtown West.. With a great job and a great city to explore, still...something was missing. I had always wanted to be in the entertainment industry and till this day, I regret not pursuing it right after college. As I start approaching my mid-20's, I've decided to take on that one thing I've always wanted to do - acting. So as crazy, insane, or random as it may sound, I've made the decision to quit my job and pursue acting full time. Hey - it's worth giving 100% to your dream. Even if I fail miserably, at least I know that I tried. WISH ME LUCK!!! |
