Me Jean Michelle,

In the 80šs I was a girl.
I always wore make up and dressed in skirts.  Everybody thought I was a
girl...!
I adored Culture Club, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Bauhaus, Duran Duran, Nina
Hagen, Kim Wilde, Dead or Alive etc. You name it.

In the 90šs I grew to be a boy.
Early 90šs I met philosopher Dr Petri Sipila and fashion designer Joona Braf
founders  of  Finnish art/philosophy/alternative/fashion group Plastic Pony (Plastic Pony picture show 3 as they called themselves those days)
They helped me toinvent new styles of living and new ways of thinking.  My dear friend Tatu was also part of the scene that time. So 90´s started and it was  full of techno, cyber and black. I loved it!  We did loads of performing and partied like animals.  In mid 90´s I also started dj:ing (techno/hard house) and  organising  clubs (Flop, Doom and Pump) they went very well and my DJ career rised to the stars.

Dressing up for gigs and parties was always essential part of me because it
felt so natural to me. I didnšt need to do anything; it just poured itself
from me.

In the late 90´s I met hardcore performance artist Riikka (doing hooks, fire, and bondage etc.)  She showed me a different world through her eyes and we came best mates.

In the beginning of 21st century I turned back to futu, new romantic,
synth-pop and electro. Nowadays I am into electroclash, alternative fashion
and planning to do music as well... let´s see ...  the circle is
completed. I feel that now it´s the best time to do crazy and fantastic
looks and shake my hair to the futu rock ;) ... and remember, there is never too much make up!!!

LOL,
Jean Michelle. 8th of August 2003
