ZANGZ'S FAVES
THINGS TO DO:
I love going out with a livley bunch of friends and doing things like...
Dinner and a movie, going to a good Admirals' game (local hockey team),  dancing at my favorite bar The Safe House, or hanging out at a nice East Side pub with a cool, frosty, dark brew.  And if there's a cigar and some good conversation present, it makes it all the better!!
I also enjoy going to local Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror conventions.
I love celebrating Halloween by going to costume parties or going through many of the local Haunted Houses (I LOVE dark attractions!!)
I do like to travel and wish I could do it more often.  I'm not one of these people who like to sit on their keisters on some hot, boring beach in the tropics.  However, I do like to go to places that are pure tourist attractions (Wisconsin Dells, Disneyworld) or that have some historical significance (Gettyburg, Washington, D.C.).
I also love hitting a lot of the local festivals during the summer, such as Summerfest and Bastille Days.
Taking long walks, especially in the spring or fall, is another favorite pastime.

TYPES OF PEOPLE:
I really enjoy it when I meet new people who are fun and open minded.  It's great when they have qualities such as a decent sence of humor, talent, a good imagination and are not afraid to use any of those attributes!!!

MUSIC:
Iron Maiden, Type O Negative, Fear Factory (scared yet?), Garbage, Rammstein, Todd Rundgren, Ozzy Osborne, White Zombie, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Bloodhound Gang, KISS, Anthrax, Los Straightjackets, Andrew W.K. and many others.

MOVIES:
The Star Wars Saga, The James Bond films, The Indiana Jones movies, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Matrix (the sequels are quite mediocre), The Crow, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Interview with the Vampire, Animal House, Brom Stoker's Dracual, American Movie, Leon - The Professional, Trekies, The Unforgiven, The Craft, Desperado, Akira, Clerks, From Dusk 'till Dawn, Glory, Blade, Blade Runner and many others.

ACTORS & ACTRESSES:
Michelle Pfeiffer, Sean Connery, Fairuza Bulk, Steve Buscemi, Nicolas Cage, Jonny Depp,  Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Salma Hyak, Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Sandra Bullock, Mark Hammill (saaw him at a con once.  Seems like a super nice guy!), Pierce Brosnan, Dame Judy Dench (The best "M" the Bond films have seen!  EVER!!) and Christopher Lee.

GOOD READS:
"Salem's Lot", "Skeleton Crew", "Pet Cemetery" and "The Gunslinger" from author Stephen King.
"Zero Minus Ten", "The Facts of Death", "High Time to Kill", 'Doubleshot" and "Never Dream of Dying" from author Raymond Benson.
"Along Came a Spider", "Kiss the Girls", "Jack & Jill", and "Cat & Mouse" by author James Patterson.
"Haunted Wisconsin", "Haunted Hartland", and "Historic Haunted Hartland" by the writing team of Micheal Norman and the late Beth Scott (I think she was still alive when she co-wrote the books.  But with the subject amtter...who knows?).
The true crime books by former FBI profiler, John Douglas are also quite interesting.  I suggest "Mindhunter" as being his best.
"Timeline" by Micheal Chritton.
"The Alienist" by Caleb Carr.
"Private Parts" by Howard Stern.
The Dhamphire sereis from the Hendees'.
I also have enjoyed comic books (or graphic novels, if you will) by writers such as, Garth Enis, Neil Gaimen and Frank Miller.  Unfortunately, comic collecting became an expensive habit.  Publishers also kept cancelleing really great titles due to lack of interest.  Thus, I really don't do much comic book reading anymore....sigh.

ARTISTS:
Derek Riggs, Brom, Timothy Bradstreet, H.R. Giger, Clyde Caldwell, Ric Frane, and Jeff Pittarelli.  And how can I forget the brilliant work from Alex Ross?

TV SHOWS:
Farscape (THE BEST Sci-Fi TV sereies that has ben on in the last ten years!!!), The Real World (It's a guilty pleasure, ok?), CSI, The Osbornes, the first 4 seasons of The X-Files.  I also love shows that appear on the Travel, TLC and Discovery channels that are dedicated to true ghost stories.

GOOD THINGS TO CONSUME:
Tenderloin prepared medium rare with sauted onions/mushrooms/ground beef on top, The Hooliburger (From Hooligan's resturant...also medium rare.), My Mom's lasagna, a good spaghetti dish with lots and lots of meat sauce and meatballs, As for beverages... Sprecher Root Beer, sweet lemonade,  Goose Island Honker's Ale, Samuel Adam''s Summer Brew, Guinness Stout and Samuel Adam's Octoberfest (a seasonal brew that is like tasting the necture of the gods!!!)

VIDEO GAMES:
I enjoy playing, First Person Shooter s, action games, survival horror and action-RPGs on the Playstation, PS2, X-Box, and Nintendo 64 counsels.

HOLIDAY:
HALLOWEEN of course!!!  I love the way it gets a tad cold outside, the smell of leaves, spice and pumpkin scented candles, the decorations people set up in  front of their houses, going to all the local Haunted Houses (except when my freinds wimp out on me... CHICKENS!!), costume parties, a good and chilling ghost story, when the dead rise from their graves to feast upon the flesh of the living... err... um... I'm getting carried away.  I have yet to meet anybody who's as enthusastic about the holiday as I am.  That's not to say I'm not keeping my eyes open.

RPG's:
Vampire: The Masquerade, Vampire: The Dark Ages, Kult, Deadlands, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars and of course the grandaddy of 'em all... Dungeons & Dragons (though I haven't ventured into the Forgotten Realsm in quite some time).
(RPG stands for  Role Playing Game for those of you not initiated into the wonderful geek culture I immerse myself in!  They're just games folks.  They're nothing to be affraid of.  We palyers aren't all blook drinking ghouls.  Well... maybe my friend Mario is.  Snicker, snicker.)
