Manner of Tefillah / Prayer
What is Tefillah
/
Prayer?
Tefillah is man's soul desire
to communicate with Elohim, irregardless which race, culture and religious beliefs
they are from. Man is the living creature that has the ability to pray unlike
animals. Tefillah is also the form of worship addressed to the Eloheinu in the
name Moshiach Yeshua through the power of the Ruach HaKodesh. Pray is important,
essential and not something we can go without. Man was created in the image
of Elohim for His pleasure, delight and glory (Kavod).
Messiah Yeshua points
out wrong concept of Tzedakah and manner Tefillah
Mattityahu chapter 6: 9-13
Wrong concept
towards Tefillah:
- Be careful not to parade your acts of tzedakah (righteousness, charity) infront of people in order to be see by them!
- Prayer motivated by fear and the
need to have control over divine powers of their own purposes. It motives
is get earthy desire or escape from any misfortunes in their life.
- Don't announce it with trumpets to win people's praise, like the hypocrites in the synagogues and on the streets.
- Don't even let your left hand know what your right hand is doing
Praying attitude
- When you pray don't be like the hypocrites, who
love to pray standing in the synagogues and on street corners, so that
people can see them.
- When you pray, go into your room , close the door and pray to your Father in secret.
- When
you pray don't babble on and on like the pagans, who think Elohim will
hear them better if they talk a lot. Don't be like them because your
Father knows what you need before you ask him.
