What is the first kind of Liger? Shield Liger? Well, yes. The Shield Liger WAS the first Liger, but in a chain of evolutions, the Liger comes first. Created by Helic forces who needed a easy way to get Liger's with low cost, the Liger Basic Unit, or just plain Liger, is a mostly unarmed zoid that, after a little bit of time, almost always becomes a Shield Liger, well, if you want it it. 

Armed with only claws and its booster claw attack, were it boosts toward its target and lets the speed to the real damage, this zoid it almost begging for evolution, which is ok really. Fight well, get a new zoid. Although, this is one of the fastest Class 1 zoids, which is the gift for giving up armor.

Special Abilities:

Maneuver Thrusters: These give a small zoid even MORE maneuvering abilities.

Back Booster: This gives the zoid a 20 km/h boost when used, pushing the speed to a nice  310 km/h/

Light E-Shield: Nothing compared to the Shield Ligers shield... but nice none the less.

Booster Claw: You rush you enemy, jump to attack with your claws. Then you charge all booster and shield energy to the back boosters, pushing speed to a a whopping 500 km/h, in mid air! This will, of course, cause massive damage to your foe. But don't activated the boosters on ground, the speed will rip the Ligers legs right off.
