Ancients Battles Vikings One of the odder army choices available from the "Armies of Antiquity" supplement for Warhammer Ancient Battles. The entire army can be in skirmish order if you wish and the Huscarles cause "fear" in all enemies of leadership 7 or less. You can also include Beserkers who rush out from their unit to inflict daamge on their enemies rather like Night Goblin fanatics in Warhammer Fantasy Battles. The figures are a mix of the old GW Norse range, Gripping Beast and Essex Miniatures, with Essex providing the majority. Painting was by James Roach of the Olicana Painting Service. Most of the shield designs are my own Veni Vidi Vici range (Dark Age, DD3 and DD4). Click on the images if you would like to see the larger version. |

armed with spear and shield plus 2 Beserkers - I will leave you to work out
whichare the Beserkers. With unit leader, musician and standard this unit works
out at 407 points. |
