Brother Kamil,
Compliments of the day!
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, business has been very busy of late despite the troubled economic times this country is having, and I just got back from an emergency business trip. I'm sure you understand that, your country has always been very poor and the animal herds must get out of hand at times.
Speaking of which, onto business at hand. I've tried to call you on your phone, but no luck at all. I guess email will do for now, this is more personal than rushed phone conversations as we are both undoubtedly busy men who need to keep expenses down anyway. We will have plenty of time to get to know one another better this way as well.
With respect to the applications, etc., you wanted me to fill out, will using this email form be ok? Also, should I mail them to your government or is email ok for that too?
I really need to get going and take care of some things, just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know I was still interested and see what the next step was.
Matt
Based on the theory he doesn't have his own computer and insyead must buy time at an Internet Cafe, I'm just gonna make him wait for each response and require plenty of prompting and remedial instruction...

Dear friend,
I sincerely apologize for not responding your mails all this while. I had to make a quick and impromptu
dash to my village to see my aged father, whom I came to discover have been hospitalized a couple of days before my arrival, due to ill health. I only got back this morning, as I asked for and was granted a few days off the office. Be that as it may, I thank you very, very much for your mails re-affirming your
commitment and willingness to assist and support us in our project. Consequent upon this, I make bold to say that you are now fully and completely our partner and as such must be treated as one. We however wish to state here that there are certain basic principles that must guide us all through this transaction. These are TRUST, HONESTY, LOYALTY, TOTAL COMMITMENT & STRICT
CONFIDENTIALITY. We give you our solemn word that we will not perform less in, as you can count on us 100%. With your total/absolute co-operation we must succeed.
Having established this concrete and mutual understanding, I wish to inform you that we are right now fully prepared to take off with the transaction in earnest with the official registration of your company
with both the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), as a limited liability company, licensed and permitted to carry on businesses in Nigeria and with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), as a category 'A' contractor. Consequently, you are to transcribe the texts A & B unto your letterhead and invoice respectively and send back directly to me through e-mail as attachments, as we will work on all other relevant documents over here before officially presenting all documents to the Contract Review Panel (CRP) for verification and approval. Please note and very importantly that it will be of utmost importance that you build in your full/complete address over there in your country, including your direct tel./fax number(s) and your e-mail address. All these information will be relevant to the various approving and payment agencies and departments, as these documents will serve as your formal application documents.
With all machinery in full gear and with the feelers from our various sources, the registration exercise will take about 48 hours to accomplish when the official Certificates of Registration will be formally handed over to us. Please note very importantly and remember, in line with my previous mails, that all relevant documents towards this feat will be backdated 3 years to accommodate when the contract was believed to have been awarded and executed. The official certificates will equally be backdated.
At this juncture, it will not be out of place to ask you to furnish me with the above stated and requested information immediately upon receipt of this mail, as these will also be relevant in view of the
registration exercise, which we intend to commence in earnest as soon as possible. Remember, the corporate headquarters of this company is over there in your country, so we need these information, as they will be used while preparing the Articles and Memorandum of Association to be duly endorsed by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Please confirm receipt of this mail and your understanding, while I thank you once again for all your willingness to support and assist us, in this mutually benefiting transaction, while promising again that we will not let you down. I anxiously wait to hear from you A.S.A.P with all the above requested information.
Sincerely yours & God bless,
Kamil Momoh.
Since I personally always disappear on vacation without mentioning it to business associates awaiting response on pending matters first, I find nothing unusual about the practice and encourage it.

Dear Matt,
Greetings to you, while expressing my sincere surprises as I have not heard from you all this while,
especially after my mail accepting you as our partner and consequently requested for certain very vital information necessary for the official registration of your company and the requested and required texts A &
B. I sincerely expected you to have contacted me if you had any problems with these, especially with the company issue as we were and are still prepared to
register a fresh and new company name on your behalf over here in my country with both the CAC & NNPC. However, the delay is getting unbearable, thus I wish
to use this opportunity to ask categorically if you are still interested in this transaction, as we are right fully poised and determined to commence in
earnest. Time has always been and still remains a very important factor in this pending project.
I wait anxiously to hear from you preferably
immediately upon receipt of this mail.
Thanks & regards,
Kamil Momoh.
