CHAPTER PROGRAMS
In everything that we do we continue to be innovative and unique. The events and programs that our chapter has conducted truly show that we will always..."Be outstanding, not mediocre."

*MS. BLACK & GOLD PAGEANT

Our Ms. Black & Gold pageant is held during our Alpha Week which is annually held during the first week of November. The pageant features the most sophisticated and intelligent women on our campus that represent the true essence of womanhood.

*BLACK MEN'S CAUCUS

This program is targeted for our male African-American students on campus. We deal with the issues that plague us as black men in today's society and we discuss ways to overcome these issues.

*JAZZ ON THE NILE

Paying homage to the wonderful world of jazz music, this event features members of our own chapter playing live jazz music. Accompanied with singing and even spoken word, this is one of our newest and inspirational events.

*HARVEST CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Annually we conduct a canned food drive around Oct. & Nov. to collect non-perishable food items for needy families. Last year we donated 10-15 boxes of food to the Jesus House.

*CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE

In the month of December our chapter collects new and used toys from students and/or faculty. We gift wrap boxes and send them to "Toys for Tots."

"Goodwill is the monarch of this house."
