November 2nd 2001: I've been feeling a little better and the beeding finally stopped, but the stress of school and the surgery finally got to me and I sit at home with Mononucleosis. I really just push myself too hard sometimes and try not to beleive that my health isn't all that great. I am hoping that I will be able to finish out the semester, pass my classes and still get better. This is actually the 3rd time I've had Mononucleosis. I once had it for over a year and a half because I never actually stopped and rested.
I guess the pain from the Adenomyosis is about the same. I am still on the Yasmin 28 birth control pills and they seem to be working ok. I don't have a lot of breast tenderness with the pill (no more than normal). I've been taking Advil and Anaprox for pain. It doesn't always work, but it helps sometimes. The problem lately has been that the Anaprox and Advil have caused me to have acid reflux. So.. now I have to take Prilosec. I may just decide to stop taking the high dosages of Advil.. then I won't need the Prilosec. Those pills hurt your liver anyway. |
