| November 2002: My boyfriend finally asked me to marry him just a few days before Thanksgiving. He gave me a beautiful ring and I said YES! My adenomyosis pain has been slowly growing worse. On top of that I have had to deal with Ovarian Cysts lately. I while before Thanksgiving I started noticing that it hurt to walk, drive, sit, eat, sleep.. it just hurt all the time and it wasn't the Adenomyosis pain, it was something new. I knew I had to get in to see a doctor but I was busy with school and wouldn't be able to make it to Oregon to see the doctor for a while until my semester was finished or I was on holiday. I decided to go to the idiot doctor in Glendale and just have him do an ultrasound. He shouldn't be able to mess that up too bad. Luckily they are good about fitting me in on short notice. They did an ultrasound and the doctor found a ovarian cyst on each ovary.The cyst on the right ovary seemed to be resolving itself and the one of my left was nice and big but nothing to worry about just yet. I told him that I would be going to see my doctor in Portland and would do a follow up then. The pain got worse around Thanksgiving time and by the time I got in to see my doctor in Oregon they did and ultrasound and the cysts were resolving. Just one more thing to add to my list of problems. Now I get ovarian cysts. The pain on the right side has not gone away even though the cyst has resolved. The doctor seems to think that there might be some scar tissue where the cyst burst that can't be seen on the ultrasound. In April 2003 (my spring break) I will be going back into the doctor and may need to have a laperoscapy to check it out if the pain is still there. |
