Many women who have adenomyosis choose not to use drug therapy as an option because it only offers some releif and no cure.. Sometimes the side effects from the medications are more severe than the pain we live with every day. In the end it is a personal choice

Listed here are some of the medications that are commonly used to "treat" adenomyosis. I stress that you find out all of the complications before you consider taking any of these medications. I have heard of women who were refused treatment from their doctor because they chose not to do drug therapy. That generally means it's time to find a new doctor!

It is your body and in the end you have the right to refuse anything that goes into it. Some of us had to learn this the hard way. But then again what doesn't work for some of us, may work for others. You decide!
