| In 2002, Zolar
X's frontman Zory Zenith was sentenced to 10 years in prison, despite the
fact he was acting in self defense. He will continue to reside in
Oregon's Two Rivers Correctional Institution without your help. Zory
was unable to afford a lawyer, and was given a public defender by the name
of Robert P. Manders, who for unknown reasons - talked Zory out of a jury
trial. Railroaded, Zory was sentenced to the maximum of 10 years
- despite the fact there were no witnessses to his supposed "crime."
Suffice to say, if Zory had sufficient funds for competent legal representation
- he would not be in jail.
