In the end, we will  conserve only what we love. we will love only what we understand. we will understand only what we are taught. - Baba Dioum, Senagalese Writer
Latest Travels and Works (new)
This page contains some recent updates from 2006 and 2007
Drawings of Birds and Wildlife
A significant day in history...the 24th of December 1999,. The discovery of a Spoon-billed Sandpiper in Tanah Merah
(Ashley and Tun Pin in the pic checking their field guides)
Forest Stream Fishes of Singapore (Pics)
Still under construction...Contains pictures and photographs of Singapore's native fish fauna as well as where to see them in a natural state
Drawings of Cartoons
Covers random doodlings done during  free time during my army days or during college lectures. Most of the pictures are pen drawings or windows paintbrush sketches.
Birds and Birding in the Oriental Region
A spoof of the life and times of the bundoh brothers...
Another major area of coverage in my personal website. Many materials especially trip reports are still under construction.Through this, i hope to provide concise information for birders keen in the birds of this 'avifaunally' magnificent region.
Panti-Forest Online (Save the Forests!)
My favourite 'backyard' birding location. Very rich in birds with over 300 species recorded here. Introduces the environment and wildlife of Panti, good birding spots within and environmental problems faced by this fascinating place.
Travel Travel Travel
A simple log, illustrated by a few of the humble pictures i have taken during my travels, predominantly in Asia. Asia, a vast continent of great contrasts, with its rich cultures, landscape, religions and huge biodiversity, in my opinion, beats all other places flat in what it can offer
Architectural Drawings
Under construction, a small gallery containing some of the sketches and drawings of buildings made. Apart from depicting animals, architecture is also one of my great interests.
Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) (2005) Portrait in pencil.
Links (for resources)
Links to webpages with resources on birds and birding in Asia as well as some of my personal favourite links for assorted resources.
Mad About Mountains
A new yet brief gallery to some of the more scenic mountains in Asia that I have visited...many of them are quite accessible and with a little effort, one can enjoy breathtaking views and spectacular nature......
Behind the Walled City
Silver-breasted Broadill (Serilophus lunatus)
A glimpse of a piece of Spain that found its way to Asia by a twist of history, the place that is Intramuros of Manila
Personal Book and CD reviews/thoughts
Botanical Drawings
Still under construction

Sketches of Abu Simbel's Ramses II for a sculpture
(2002). See below.
Studies of Dinosaur Anatomy (1994)
Chasmosaurus N' Dravidosaurus
Painted and varnished Easter Egg made with Gouache paints and coated with varnish. I attempted to imitate the style of Faberge, but must admit that i failed miserably after 15 hours of effort. This is made as a gift to an old friend of mine.
This is my first attempt to make a clay sculpture in response in my craze in Egyptian artefacts. So, here is a bust of King Tutankhamen against an Egyptian tomb background, photographed from my study too...
Drawing of Panti Forest Flora and Fauna executed in those old days, 1999 with inspirations from Rosseau's surreal paintings. Technique of pen-illustration still at its infancy.
A constructed plastic replica made of the Eiffel Towel in Paris, bird-eye's view, taken from my humble study.
