Bear's at Taronga Zoo, Sydney Australia
Cynthia, a Kodiak Bear at Sydney's Taronga Zoo sucks the remnants of a fruit ice-block while cooling off in her pool enclosure on Australia's hottest ever October day, Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004. Summer came early for Sydney with temperatures soaring to a record high of 38.2 degrees Celsius (100.76 Fahrenheit), the highest it has ever been in October since the Bureau began recording temperatures 146 years ago.
