VAUTOUR IIA No. 30

"Embargo", a proper nickname to the ex. Armee de L'air No. 7 (renumbered "07").
It was purchased when the needs for more Vautours became crucial. This worn out aircraft was actually smuggled from France, despite the embargo that had just been imposed.
The "07" was flown to Israel by Dani Shapira, and arrived in December 1967.
After a thorough repair it joined the Vautours' strength in 1968. It was in service during the War of Attrition, and was withdrawn among the last Vautours.

{ pictures of the "7" in France, as fuel-receptor test aircraft, will be put in the near future}
