Our old friend John Edmunds from the Astra Kinema was kind enough
to take these photo's on a recent to Germany and forward them to me.

These photos were taken in June 2000.  John also sent the following narrative:

"The tiles are missing off some of the school roof and it's only time before it's pulled down.  The glass in the side door was broken, I pulled on the door and it opened, I took the Mural, before it's lost for ever, the Gymnasium looks as if someone tried a supermarket, but it's closed now. The PMQ Express Mart had just been pulled down. BYC still stands but is not used. All the PMQ's have been sold and look fine with all the boxes of flowers on everyone's balcony. The only house not sold was the Base Commanders, it has tiles missing and is in a sorry state. The Base coffee shop still stands but a lot has been pulled down, the owner of the Base is in Jail, for laundering money ??"

John has promised to send me some more pictures and as soon as I get them I will post.
