Territory Sales Manager

JOHNSTONE Supply of Philadelphia - a locally owned and operated member of the nation's largest wholesale HVAC/R cooperative.

Johnstone Supply, a highly respected distributor of HVAC/R equipment, replacement parts, electric motors and power transmission components, industrial supplies, tools and test instruments seeks to hire a motivated and creative individual to further develop our market share in the greater Philadelphia region.

If hired, you will adopt and implement a fundamental, basic sales strategy to increase market share among existing customers, as well as transitioning prospects.

This is a full-time position. The workweek will require you to be traveling within the local Philadelphia metropolitan region 100% of the time. Overnight travel would be rare.

If hired, you will manage:

  • Evaluation of both new and existing key accounts.
  • Development and growth of key accounts.
  • Development of customized promotions, pricing programs (quotations).

Required skills and/or traits:

  • At least 5 years of continuous growth & experience in business-to-business sales, or 4 year college business/finance or other technical degree. No others need apply.
  • Knowledge of residential, commercial and/or industrial HVAC equipment and systems is helpful, but not as important as a strong commitment to hard work, learning the product lines we offer, and meeting the needs of our customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Excel
  • Honesty, integrity & drug-free.
  • Motivated and self-disciplined. Plan your work; work your plan.
  • Neat and pleasant demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of local Philadelphia market shall be a big plus.
