Both former members of seventies band 10 CC ("I'm Not In Love"), Godley & Creme were highly successful during the eighties with a side job : directing and producing videoclips. Some of them were : Visage's "Fade To Gray" (1981) Duran Duran's "Girls On Film" (1981) Culture Club's "Victims" (1983) The Police's "Every Breath You Take" (1983) Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Two Tribes" and "Power of Love" (1984) Go West's "We Close Our Eyes" (1985) Sting's "(If You Love Somebody) Set Them Free" (1985) Peter Gabriel's (with Kate Bush) "Don't Give Up" (1985) and of course their groundbreaking "Cry", with the technique of morphing faces. |
