Buster Keaton Remembered  By Eleanor Keaton and Jeffrey Vance Abrams Books priced at $45.00. The pluses for this book are the previously unpublished photos and the superior quality reproductions of the well known. Eleanor Keaton's brief interview is worth reading, her warmth, love and respect for Buster shines through and gives us a glimpse of both her and the man she was devoted to for over twenty-five years. A nice touch is the afterword by Kevin Brownlow. He talks about his meeting with the Keatons and his interview with Buster. The definitive Keaton biography has still to be written, perhaps if Eleanor had had more involvement with the book as the position of her name on the cover implies, it may have been nearer the mark. The publication date of 'Buster Keaton Remembered' is May 2001 published by Abrams ISBN:0-8109-4227-5
