Big East Swimming & Diving Champs at the Goodwill Games Pool Last night at finals of the last day of the Big East College Swimming and Diving Champs, a group of TVSC swimmers, parents and coaches were present to observe what college swimming is all about. Was it boring? No, we saw some awesome fast swimming, a 10, 7 and 5 meter platform diving exhibition and towards the end the TVSC swimmers were on the pool deck collecting swim caps and autographs from the college swimmers. Brad spotted Maddy Crippen, Villanova Univ. and Team FoxCatcher in the stands. She is one of fastest US athletes in the 200 and 400 IM and 200 breast and a 2000 Olympics hopeful, and they got her autograph too. The University of Pittsburgh won the men's and the University of Notre Dame won the women's Big East Championships. More info about 2000 Big East Championship Swimming and Diving. February 15, 2000
