this is the me section:

That's me wrapped by a Green Day memorabilia that I hold so dearly.  But if you're wondering why I desecrate this Crumbs page with a picture of me that's remarkably irrelevant to the Crumbs, it's all a simple reason of who I am as a person. Plus, it's the only picture I have.  So, why a Crumbs page and not a Green Day page?  First of all,  if you don't know who Green Day is by now....I don't know what kind of cave you've been living in, cause my hole comes with a radio.  And fortunately, the Crumbs are not heard in the world of generic and pseudo tunes a Program Director would call music.

And due to how cursed I am to ever catching the essence of the Crumbs live, my liking for their music has grown immensely.  I guess Emil was right...it's an unexplainable phenomenon that music sometimes hits a nerve in your body.  And missing numerous shows of the Crumbs consecutively caused me to dwell deeply on Johnny B's guitar solos.  Or the song of "Dead Boys Too" and how much it reminds of last year's endless summer nights when I wished I  played a song as overwhelming as that  live in my own stupid little band.  So here's my piece of dedication to the four lads.  Read on and find out how I got into the Crumbs and all that nostalgia.

the sweet taste of being captivated

Sixteen years old entering my freshman year at a brand new school.  No faces seems familiar, as the buildings were more confining than any other schools.  What brightened my days were those group of kids who sat near me during lunch, who surely were more interesting than the food.  Anyway, hours of guitar filled lunches and 45 minutes of killing time, I met the girl who wore her infamous tank top decorated with The Crumbs logo and a picture of them.  And that marked the year of when I learned that a band called the Crumbs existed; and only miles away.
But it wasn't until my summer after my sophomore year that the crumbs meant something more than just that band from Miami who's out on Lookout!.  Missing them in action at the Mr. T Experience show in Ft. Lauderdale of May 1998, did I regret not going inside.  And it's been an ongoing habit for my nature to miss the crumbs.  I've been cursed, I know.  And this only led to hours of listening to the self titled album from morning to nights, and so loud and flowing that Raf and the boys probably heard it all the way down in Miami.
From beginning to end, track after track; the energy and attitude that the crumbs impacted on me hit me right in the face.  With songs like "Dead Boys Too" and the heartwarming long distance tales of "Come Home" and "Long Distance Luv,"  I couldn't believe I hadn't seen this band live.
But I think the album that probably motivated me to make this page was their latest release of Low and Behold.  It felt like it was a new and different attitude...but the same perception.  Don't tell me you can't listen to "Just A Waiting" and not wanna move around.  That song and others such as "Chase it Down" and "Sonic DISASTER" has that catchy flavor that no other but Green Day and the Mr. T Experience have done to me. So, the Crumbs sits highly on my list.
