These are pictures Mr. Cochennic took of the Shrine. He has made many
improvements recently and everything is looking so pretty. He has added so many
new flowers and has painted everything. He is also putting in ceramic tiles. I
don't know how he has the energy to do all of this work at his age. He is 88
years old and does more than most much younger men. He has a goal and nothing
will keep him from completing his goal.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Cross Mr. C. built on the bayou side.
This is in left side of the Shrine. Mr. C. has started many new plants
in blue containers.
The Holy Mary Shrine
The plant is an azelea. You can see the pink ceramic tile.

This is the bayou side leading to the cross and the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
This is the right side of the entrance of the shrine. This cross was made and donated for the shrine.
