"Hilary Duff and her sister Haylie will team up for the first time on screen in a new teen comedy called 'Material Girls'.

Screen Daily reports that the sisters play heiresses who lose their fortune and must fight to win back their standing.

The film will begin shooting in January 2005.

Haylie Duff will be seen on Irish screens in the new film 'Napoleon Dynamite'; it opens in Irish cinemas on 10 December."

"Now this is more like it. The first album from the blond Disney princess, Metamorphosis, was a tentative effort, a musical finger-painting. One got the sense that the Lizzie McGuire star had taken up a recording career merely because she could. CDs? One more product line for this sparkly performer to put her brand on. Her eponymous second collection is a vast improvement. With 17 tracks, it's an uneven, overstuffed collection, but Duff is clearly taking the process seriously. This is a far more textured and dynamic production with a handful of keepers, from the moody anthem "Fly" to the noisy and satisfying ballad "Cry" and the surprisingly sinewy "Rock This World."

Salem boy writes, sings for Hilary Duff

When 9-year-old Raphael Bingham saw the "Lizzie McGuire" show starring Hilary Duff, he developed a crush on the teen star. The Salem boy even wrote a song for Duff about loving someone who you never think you're going to meet. On Monday, Bingham met Duff over the phone and sang her a few lines of his song, "All I Need."

"It was the best day of my life," Bingham said. "I can't even explain it. It's just amazing."

Bingham's brush with greatness came during America Online's Radio KOL show, a daily radio show for kids. The program broadcast this week from New York City.
