He has a deal with ABC for a new series for the 2001-02 season, that is tentatively titled Thieves. It's a 1 hour drama/comedy that is about 2 cat burglars (a man and a woman) who start working for the government after being caught for their crimes. It's loosely based on the TV show/movie To Catch A Thief.
He filmed an independent film last summer called Grownups. It's about 2 couples who decide to swap wives. There's no release date yet, but it may play at some film festivals sometime this year. John is also an associate producer on the film.
He will be producing a remake of the play/movie Butterflies Are Free for CBS. Rebecca will star.
He will be directing a movie for the Fox Family Channel.
He was in an independent film last year called Dropping Out, where he played a porno editor. It's about a guy who wants to commit suicide, videotape it and then send it to an ex-girlfriend. It played at many film festivals last year, including Sundance 2000 (where it premiered) There's no wide release date, but I hope it gets one, as it's too good a movie not to. If not, hopefully it will be out on video soon.
