Hocking Glass Depression Old Swirl Dessert Bowls and Platter

Hocking Old Swirl Platter This large serving platter and two small dessert bowls are both from Hocking Glass Company's Old Swirl Pattern 1, made in the 1930's or 1940's.

The 'S' shaped Swirls are molded deep into the back of the heavy Crystal glass, and wrap up around gracefully to form the peaks of the scalloped rim.

The lack of any glow under long wave Ultraviolet Light, and the weak yellow glow under short wave UV indicate that this particular platter was made in the late 1930's or early 1940's.

All three in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and just a few mold marks and scratches that are not obvious.
