This is my first applet. I know it is nothing special, but I am pretty proud of it because I have done it by myself. I have just taken the NervousText applet done by Sun Microsystems. There the text is passed only through an applet parameter and the color is fixed. I have introduced the possibility for the user to change both color and text using the method of comunications between applets. The applet also resize according to the text length. Therefore there are two applets on this page that comunicate each other. To stop the moving of the text, click on it. To restart click again. When the color is "random only color", restarting the text will also change the color. You can also choose to have each letter drawn in a random color, when you choose "random each letter" that is the default when you load the page, in this case when the text move each letter will dinamically change color. The color of the background of the text is white to let you see the resizing of the applet when changing text. When the chosen color is white, the background is set to black. Of course when you choose to have a random color it may happen that it is not visible in the white background. If you leave or reload the page the applet go back to the original size, you have to hit the button "Draw again" to resize it or click inside the text.

You can look at the Source of the blinking text or a the Source of the user input . Feel free to use all or part of these applets, just please let me know if you do and if you find any bug. The applet of the blinking text can have an extra parameter named "Font", which is the dimension of the character. The default value is 36. If you use it be carefull that there is no check on the correctness of the parameter value.
