Proud Part of Lady Mox's World of Darkness Webring (See Below)

Heading east out of Memphis, Tennessee, you are entering the wilderness of Shelby County.  Behind you are historic Beale Street, home of the blues; the tall buildings of a large American city; Overton Park, and the Memphis Zoo; Libertyland amusement park; and the Pink Palace Plantetarium.  You are now in the Wyld.

The spirit of the Wyld feels much different than that of the Weaver, the spirit that the city dwellers are accustomed to, with her webs of technology and her patterns of complexity in the city, who inhabits the spirit reflection of the city which you are leaving behind.  The hair on the back of your neck raises as a wolf's song is heard in the distance.

Off the asphalt road is a little traveled path, barely perceptible to the untrained eye.  Crossing the path is a small pack of wolves, beautiful, silver gray, who pause long enough to give you a good look before moving along on their way.  The feeling of spiritual strength, primordial might, grows stronger as you weave your way through the maze of trees.

Finally you come to a glen, somewhat a clearing.  A snow white owl winks at you from a nearby low hanging tree branch, and as you blink it is gone.  You blink again, and it is there.  Then you hear a voice in your head, one you could almost swear was coming from the owl.  It says, "Welcome to our caern of Wisdom.  Learn what you can and step carefully, lest snarling death be your Fate."  The wolf song grows louder as a large pack of wolves come before you, sitting in the glen.  Their song, eerily beautiful is also unsettling.

This is the Call of the Wyld.

[OOC (Out of Character) Note: This chat room is designed to be played in by characters from EVERY White Wolf World of Darkness role playing system, even though it is centered around Werewolf:  The Apocalypse it is NOT intended for Werewolf ALONE.  If it is a character type found in White Wolf's World of Darkness setting that you play, it is welcome here as a guest and/or member.  Members can be Kindred, Garou, Kinfolk, Changeling, Mage, Hunter, Kuei Jin, Wraith, Demon/Daemon, Mummy, any of the Changing Breeds from both East and West, mortals who work for Pentex, Endron Oil, Dynamic Neugenics Ammalgamated (DNA), and any other type found in the World of Darkness.

SOME Free Form is allowed here, emphasis on SOME.  The room is both a mixture of Free Form and White Wolf, but is also PURELY White Wolf in some instances.  Ordinary role play is a mixture, and any Free Form character is welcome, assuming they abide by and follow the rules listed on this site and annotated by the Room Owner.  Sometimes, a Storyteller led role play will be in effect.  During the mixture, you do not have to roll dice, but you DO need a current character sheet.  Certain instances may be cited where you HAVE to roll dice by the request of the Room Owner, but this is rare, usually in cases where your character tries to do something there is no way it is an automatic success or is VERY difficult.  On the other hand, playing in a Storyteller led role play is EXACTLY like playing the game at a tabletop game or an LARP.  Dice WILL be rolled as required by the system and Storyteller.  Mixture role play is more than welcome even during Storyteller led role plays, but they are requested NOT TO INTERFERE with the Storyteller led role play.  If they do attempt to interfere with it, they will be ignored by ALL in the Storyteller led group, as well as one of them will summon a mod to boot you from the room.  If you want to be an annoying little ass, you can take it SOMEPLACE ELSE.  WE are here to ROLEPLAY, NOT TO SHOW OUR ASSES.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but it is recommended you read the site fairly well first, because I am sure it will save both you and I a lot of time as it explains a lot of things.  Take care and have fun role playing! -- Joe (Joseph Blackfeather, Rage In His Eyes, Owner of the Room)]
