Midian is a place of acceptance for our kind, The Nightbreed. The tribes of the Moon. Those whom the world around us would rather cast a blind eye to than admit we exist.
I will say right here and now that this is not a forum for immature Church of Satan groupies, or Spooky Kids. This ring isn't even solely for "G*ths", it is however a haven for those kindred spirits everywhere regardless of caste or subculturual affiliation.
Admittedly, I (by societal classification blahblahblah) am a G*th, and this webring is saturated heavily by the Ethos of Clive Barker's writings, it is my hope that Midian will grow to house much more.
Personally, I could care less if you're a g*th, rivethead, sadomasochist, raver, redneck, glam-rocker, or hip-hopper. Your religion and favorite band is immaterial. Have you tried or succeeded in traversing the Dream Sea of Quintessence to the Shores of Ephemeris? Have you felt a pull of your insides to a place like Midian or Midian itself? Do you think the truth is out there? (sorry .. had to add it .. eheh.) If so, then I hope that this webring is for you. Please do not take it personally if I do not add your site to the ring. There are tons of webrings out there and I would like to be somewhat selective. If you think I'm an arse, or want to argue with me about why your page *should* indeed be in the ring, feel free. Enough of the preamble ...
How do I join Midian?
Once you submit the form, I will look over your pages to see whether or not it is suitable for entry to Midian. I will also need to see the webring info on your page at that time. If the Midian webring info is on your page and I approve the site, you will be added to the ring. This ring is rated R, but I will not allow any sites onto the ring that are completely tasteless, insipid, or XXX in nature. We have now found our home here at geocities since I am losing my UF account in August. Many of the sites you will now see in the ring are tailored for Clive Barker/Horror fans, don't let this stop you from submitting your site to the ring. I would however suggest you pick up a CB novel and read it, you just may well become converted :) The Tribes of the Moon come in all forms and guises, you know best if you belong ...
